You Are Here: Home - events - Free seminar about to "Keep Your Kids Safe Online"

I received this via email from a blogger's mailing list and I'm very interested to learn more on how to keep my kids safe online, few days ago I installed a Toddler's key program in my laptop because Lace's 7 year old niece is here at home and she is a tech savvy, so to keep her away from using my laptop whenever I am using the CR, the Toddler's key program will unlock all my keyborad buttons and mouse and a password that I can activate it.

so to learn more of some tips, check the info below posted by our blogger Sonnie Santos.

Kids nowadays are tech savvy. Beginning at the age of 9, their interest will shift from “edu toys” to gadgets, social web or online games. Though this is not necessarily bad, parents should be aware of the possible dangers it presents.

Why kids spend so much time on the web? What’s into online games that can affect kids studies and social life? Have you thought of the potential harm that these can bring to your kids even though they are in the confines of your home?

Let’s find some answers, learn together as we share our experiences and together, guide our kids. Join us on July 10, 2010 at Microsoft Auditorium, 6750 Ayala Ave., Makati City 3:00 PM for this discussion.

Admission is free but interested parties are requested to send email at reservations[at]websafetyforparents[dot]org to request for a seat. A confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants, please bring this for registration at the event venue.
